About Pune District Education Association (PDEA)
Pune District Education Association (PDEA) was established on 7th September 1941 with the motto "Bahujan Hitay, Bahujan Sukhay" — meaning "Welfare and Happiness for the masses."
Founded by the great social reformer Hon. Baburaoji Gholap, PDEA started over 350 schools across Pune district, making education accessible to every child.
Today, PDEA manages 55 high schools, 23 vocational schools, 31 junior colleges, 8 senior colleges, and 10 professional institutions across disciplines including Engineering, Law, Pharmacy, and Management.
