"Bahujan Hitay, Bahujan Sukhay" – Welfare and Happiness for the Masses
Pune District Education Association (PDEA), established on 7th September 1941, is a charitable organization founded by the great social reformer Late Shri Baburaoji Golap. Under his visionary leadership, PDEA rapidly opened over 350 primary schools across Pune district, extending education to every corner of society.
Today, PDEA manages 55 high schools, 23 vocational schools, 31 junior colleges, 8 senior colleges, and 10 professional colleges in various fields including Ayurveda, Management, Pharmacy, Engineering, Polytechnic, Computer Science, Education, and Law.
The organization has received the Rajyagourav Puraskar from the Government of Maharashtra for outstanding work in education and social service. With the guidance of Hon. Shri Ajitdada Pawar, President of PDEA and Former Deputy Chief Minister, it continues to achieve new heights, educating over 1,00,000 students annually.
